Acceptable Use Policy

This policy protects BirdDog customers, workers, communications recipients, and the service from misuse.

You may not use BirdDog to

  • Break the law, violate another person's rights, or facilitate fraud, harassment, discrimination, or abuse.
  • Access, disclose, alter, or delete another organization's data without authorization.
  • Share credentials, bypass permissions, probe security controls, introduce malware, or interfere with service availability.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use or that is malicious, deceptive, or unlawfully sensitive.
  • Scrape, copy, resell, or reverse engineer the service except as expressly permitted by law or written agreement.
  • Send unsolicited, deceptive, unlawful, or unwanted email or messaging traffic.

Messaging requirements

Users and customers must obtain legally sufficient consent before sending messages, accurately identify the sender, honor opt-outs promptly, keep evidence of consent where required, and follow carrier and provider requirements. SMS users must be able to reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Purchased, rented, or transferred consent lists are prohibited.

Operational and safety use

Do not use BirdDog as the sole control for emergencies, life-safety decisions, engineered designs, regulated notices, or other situations where a delayed or incorrect message could cause harm. Maintain appropriate supervision, emergency procedures, and independent verification.

Enforcement

BirdDog may investigate suspected violations and limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, customers, recipients, or the service. We may preserve and disclose information when required by law or necessary to address abuse.
